Description

Tungsten Carbide Bur HP Cross Cut 351 Cone by Edenta is a precision rotary cutting instrument designed for a wide range of dental laboratory applications. Featuring a cone-shaped head, this bur delivers controlled material removal, efficient cutting, and consistent surface refinement across diverse dental materials.

As part of the Edenta tungsten carbide cutter system, the cut type — identified by the last two digits of the product code (e.g., 5210.060 = Cut 10) — determines the bur’s specific purpose and material compatibility. Cut 10 is suited to coarse abrasion on chrome-cobalt, precious metal, and chrome-nickel alloys, model cast alloys, and acrylics, while Cut 20 offers universal application across dental materials with smooth, accurate finishing. Cut 24 delivers exceptionally fine cutting on all alloys, especially titanium, thanks to a special pattern that avoids clogging, and Cut 25 provides excellent performance and chip removal on tough materials such as titanium, NP alloys, plaster, and prosthetic resins.

Further options include Cut 26 for titanium and titanium alloys, Cut 27 for non-precious metal alloy preparation, Cut 30 for fine finishing of gold, alloys, resins, and ceramics, and Cut 31 — a titanium-nitride coated cutter offering cool-cutting properties for clasp preparation and inlay finishing. Additional cuts (40, 41, 50, 51, 53, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, and 83/85) are tailored for surface retention, aesthetic veneer work, plaster and resin reduction, PEEK and PMMA trimming, papilla shaping, and bulk abrasion — giving dental technicians a comprehensive range of options for precise, task-specific cutting.
