Description
Diamond IPR Strip – Serrated
The Diamond IPR Strip (Serrated) is a diamond-coated interproximal reduction strip. Dental professionals use it to contour and finish proximal tooth surfaces during both restorative and orthodontic procedures. Its serrated diamond coating removes restorative material and excess cement in a controlled way.
Key Uses
- Contours the proximal regions of composite, acrylic, glass ionomer, and amalgam fillings
- Removes excess restorative material from proximal surfaces after placing a filling
- Removes excess cement after cementing inlays, onlays, and laminate veneers
- Supports interproximal reduction (IPR) during orthodontic and clear aligner treatment planning
Available Grit Options
This strip belongs to a diamond IPR strip range that also includes Fine, Medium, and Super Fine grits. As a result, clinicians can match the grit to the stage of treatment. For example, a coarser grit may suit initial reduction, while a finer grit may suit finishing work.

DDL Dental also stocks non-serrated, perforated, and non-serrated perforated versions of this diamond IPR strip. Clinicians who prefer a different edge type, or who use a strip holder, can choose the matching option from the same product line.
