Interdent Dipping Wax is a highly plastic wax with strong elastic memory. It comes as pink wax pellets that melt evenly for consistent handling. The wax resists contraction as it moves from a liquid to a solid state. This low-shrinkage property helps thin wax layers keep their shape and dimensions as they set. That matters when accuracy is important at the laboratory bench.

Dental laboratories typically melt dipping wax in a wax pot or dipping unit set to the recommended temperature. Many crown and bridge workflows use dipping wax alongside modelling wax, casting wax, and investment materials.

Crown and bridge technicians commonly use dipping waxes like this one for die spacing and wax pattern refinement. The dipping technique works well for this task. Warm the wax to a workable consistency, then dip the die or pattern to build a thin, even layer. Once set, technicians can remove the wax layer cleanly, without distorting the model underneath.

Use Interdent Dipping Wax at a working temperature of 75-85 degrees C. Staying within this range keeps the wax’s flow and set behaviour consistent between applications. Let each layer cool fully before handling it, to support a clean, accurate result. Like other dental waxes, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight.
