The recommended water-to-powder ratio of 20 ml water to 100 g powder allows for predictable handling and controlled viscosity during model fabrication. The material can be mixed manually in 15 seconds or under vacuum for approximately 60 seconds, ensuring flexibility for different laboratory workflows.

The stone offers a practical working time of approximately 5 minutes, allowing technicians sufficient time to pour and manipulate the material before it begins to set. A setting time of around 12 minutes supports efficient production while maintaining precise detail capture.

INTERROCK NEW TYPE IV also provides excellent mechanical strength, reaching a compressive strength of 60 MPa after one hour and a hardness of 250 MPa after 24 hours.
