Diapol HP Startec by Edenta is a two-step diamond polishing system designed for reliable, gentle preparation of zirconium dioxide, lithium disilicate, zircon-reinforced lithium silicate (ZLS), hybrid-ceramic, and all commonly used veneering porcelains. After milling in a CAD/CAM machine, ceramic restorations naturally have some surface roughness — reducing this roughness is essential to minimise abrasion on the opposing tooth.

StarTec polishers guarantee thorough finishing and polishing of the ceramic surface through a clear two-step process. Step 1 (Purple) uses a medium grit for smoothing surfaces and preparing them for final glaze. Step 2 (Yellow) uses a superfine grit for achieving high-shine polishing, without the need for polishing paste or additional materials — delivering an efficient, streamlined workflow for dental laboratories working with modern CAD/CAM ceramic materials.
