Description
Vita VMK Master Gingiva is a feldspar veneering porcelain designed for porcelain-bonding alloys within the conventional CTE range of 13.5 to 15.2 x 10⁻⁶K⁻¹. It is especially suitable for veneering non-precious metal frames, thanks to its firing temperature and carefully balanced chemical and physical properties. Within the VMK Master system, Gingiva is designed to replicate natural gingival tones, supporting realistic, aesthetic results for combination and implant-related restorations.
VMK Master Gingiva is an uncompromising material where safety and aesthetics are equally prioritized, delivering highly aesthetic restorations through brilliant, natural colours. It supports classical dentine-incisal layering schemes, and is complemented by a comprehensive range of additional porcelains for further individualization.
Physical data (Dentine): CTE 13.2–13.7 x 10⁻⁶K⁻¹ (25–500°C); firing temperature 930°C (1st dentine); transformation temperature approx. 565°C; flexural strength (3-point) approx. 90 N/mm²; bonding strength >50 N/mm²; density approx. 2.4 g/cm³; acid solubility <10 µg/cm²; medium grain size approx. 19µm.
